Welcome to the 12th issue of The Collegian Magazine.

This semester has been unlike any other. Due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and nationwide stay-at-home orders, we were no longer able to release a print edition or work together in our beloved basement office, but we still wanted to provide the same platform for our writers. At the Magazine, we develop our stories over the course of a semester, meaning that several articles in this issue already had a good deal of reporting done before the current crisis. They must each deal with that disruption in different ways. We will be releasing these articles in the next few weeks, starting with our nonfiction contest winner, a reflection by Tommy Johnson ’20 as he comes to terms with the loss of his last spring at Kenyon.
