Welcome to the 11th issue of The Collegian Magazine!

Within these pages, you will find articles covering a diverse range of topics, all with the aim of looking in-depth at the world of Kenyon College. We begin by exploring the historical relationship between the College and its noble namesake, before profiling the pastor who founded the first Spanish-language congregation in Mount Vernon and considering how the Mount Vernon News has fared while facing the fall of print. Our nonfiction contest winner, Aaliyah C. Daniels, narrates a compelling, fraught family reunion. The following feature details the transformation of the football program under its new head coach. We also include two articles that examine the campus environment past and present, with predictions of its sustainability for generations to come.
